platewall in progress . . .

I've long been admiring Lisa Congdon's platewall (here)... Such a great way to display a collection. So much life it brings to a wall... love it!
So... I've decided to make a platewall of my own:) I've almost got it all planned out. Will show you once it's all up:)
p.s.: Heather Moore has helped me start an entire collection of Fiep Westendorp plates. Thanks Heather!

Lovely, I would love to do this too on a dark grey wall. But first need to start my collection. I spy a Charlie & Lola plate in your collection!

I love that you use so many Jip en Janneke plates (by Fiep Westendorp). She from the same country as I am and she was a great illustrator!

Wonderful plates!
Wich (Dutch) mother doesn't love Jip and Janneke..??
I once had plates by Fiep Westerdorp, but over the years they got broken or damaged because of constant use...
Good luck with you're collection !

Great that you like Fiep's illustrations!!
We are very proud of her in our small country...you know who is also great; Marjolein Bastin, she draws Vera de Muis and others, also lovely!!
